ClipLode stores OAuth tokens only so connected creator accounts can use official TikTok and YouTube APIs. Tokens are stored in the application database and are used for the account connection, TikTok video metadata detection, and YouTube test upload features shown in the dashboard.
ClipLode is designed for user-owned content. The app does not scrape TikTok, does not download TikTok videos unofficially, does not remove watermarks, and does not process third-party content.
TikTok video media retrieval is pending official TikTok media access approval. Until that approval is granted, ClipLode stores public video metadata such as title, share URL, cover image URL, and posting time where available.
Users can disconnect TikTok or YouTube from the dashboard. For a demo deployment, deletion can also be completed by removing the user connection and related records from the database.
